  • The memory I have of the book is in a classroom at NUIG, with my Modern Literature Seminar.

  • I had enjoyed as much as I’d read of the book

  • I liked the pace, I liked the variety of characters.

  • I hadn’t finished the book and still haven’t read all of them. I’ve reread Bliss and sections of Prelude and a couple of others, the voyage. It’s very good.

  • A class reading list

  • I had got the book from the college book shop as it was on my seminar reading list.

  • I was reading in the classroom because I was terrible for not reading before class.

  • It’s usually a quiet place save for the voices of the class. Except the day of the memory in particular had builders on the roof drilling and working.

  • The place is inside on the secnd floor of towerblock 1 in the NUIG Arts Concourse.

  • Beautiful sunshine in April of last year.

  • I don’t usually go here to read.

  • It’s part of my regular journey to college.

  • I was last there Octoer of last year.

  • I associate warm dusty carpets with the room

  • I brought Anna Mae Sheehan here once

  • I would bring Aaron Simpson.
